We believe these were a contract knife made by Puma for Winchester Arms in the early to mid 1980’s and in very limited quantities.

As there are no Puma markings on the knife, we have had it verified by Pumaknives.de that this was the case and this could be one of only a few in Australia today.

The blade follows that of the JagdNicker Model with a beautiful mirror finished blade with plain edge and part serrated just near the underside of the handle.

The bolsters are nickel silver and the handle is made from genuine Deer Antler with three pins.

As soon as you see this knife you can see it is made by Pum Germany.

Stamped on one side of the blade is ‘WINCHESTER’ trade marked branding.

The sheath is the typical Puma Jagdnicker dark green sheath with twin securing studs and stamped on the front is the Winchester brand and running horse emblem and on the top part of the sheath is the usual Puma stamp of MADE IN GERMANY.

Circa around mid 1980’s and a beautiful and rare piece. This is the only one of these we have ever seen and it was purchased in a Sydney Shop so we do not beleive there were many brought in to Australia. A great piece to add to the Puma collection.
