Stunning and rare Browning Hunting Heritage Series Limited Edition Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation knife in wooden Display Case #228 of 550

Rare and 1 of only 550 made and this one is number 228.

Made in Japan for Browning and extremely  good quality

Overall length is approx 19.5cm when open and blade length is approx 8.5cm with a closed length of approx 11cm

One side of mirror finish blade reads “ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION 2002 BANQUET EDITION” This is engraved in 22 carat gold.

BROWNING 228 OF 550 and the other side reads “JAPAN”

It has a beautifully figured Burlwood handle pinned with brass pins and it has a lanyard hole.

Very rare Japanese Browning knife and made in 2002 so is now 20 year old.

We have placed this in the Rare and Vintage catogary but it is in new condition and totally unused and unsharpened. Couple of little age marks on the wooden box and blade which can be seen in the images.

A really nice collectable piece and 1 of only 550

The handle is made of Burl, with a lanyard hole and the bolsters are made of Nickel Silver.

Made in Japan.

Comes with a solid hardwood display case with two removable feet and a scene of an Elk Stag with a small herd of Elk Hinds on the top with the BROWNING trade mark.

Inside, it has a dark velvet display cut out for the knife and an emblem of the same scene as on the top of the case but in colour.

This is a wonderful piece with a beautiful Browning Japanese made knife and a rare collectable in Australia.
