Hunters and connoisseurs of the PUMA knife manufactory appreciate our classic ‘waidbesteck’, which was developed by OFM Walter Frevert in the middle of the last century. It is still part of traditional hunting equipment today. However, we at PUMA do not only see ourselves as preservers of inherited traditions, but also want to bring new traditions to life!

HUNT TO SURVIVE!

Introducing our latest backup knife, proudly made in Solingen. After an extensive and demanding testing phase in the wilderness, we are thrilled to present the final design! Check out our three models in action on Hunt to Survive (YouTube).

The PUMA Steel Star Frischling is a compact, sturdy full-steel knife paired with a custom-fit Kydex sheath. Perfect as a backup knife or neck knife, it is robust, lightweight, and features a textured thumb rest for enhanced control. The handle can be customized with paracord (not included) for a personalized touch. It’s the ideal companion for life’s (small) adventures.  Includes a black ball chain to carry the knife as a neck knife.
